Common reasons for label paper not peeling off the backing paper?

Time : 2026-08-12 Hits : 0

1、The reason for the label

The label paper has excessive adhesion: Use high-viscosity glue, as the stripper resistance becomes too high in low-temperature environments.

Insufficient die-cutting depth: During the die-cutting process of the label paper, it was not fully cut, resulting in the entire sheet remaining connected and unable to be separated.

Excessive die-cutting depth: The die-cutting blade presses too deeply into the base paper, causing it to crack, with glue adhering to the base paper, making it impossible to separate with the peeling device.

2、Environmental Issues

Low ambient temperature: The adhesive layer hardens and becomes more viscous at low temperatures, making peeling difficult

Moisture and high-temperature storage: The label absorbs moisture, causing changes in the adhesive and backing paper performance, resulting in sticking to the bottom.

Excessive tension in the roll material: If the roll material is too tight, it may cause adhesive overflow, making the labels difficult to tear

3、Equipment Issues

Oil stains and dust on the base paper: abnormal friction causing detachment failure

Incorrect stripping plate position: The stripping plate angle is too small, resulting in excessive stripping resistance; the stripping plate position needs to be adjusted

Excessive speed: The labeling speed is too fast, leaving insufficient time for peeling, resulting in the labels remaining attached to the backing paper
