Why does the flat‑surface labeling machine produce inaccurate labeling positions during operation?

Time : 2026-08-20 Hits : 0

1.Insufficient flatness of product surface

The flat‑surface labeling machine is designed for completely flat workpieces. If the product has grooves, bumps or height differences, the pressing roller will bear uneven force during operation. The product may shift slightly, causing label displacement and skewing while labeling. Issues such as bubbles and label edge lifting may also occur. Therefore, grooves and deformation on the labeling surface of products should be avoided.
2.Misalignment and speed mismatch between labeling head and conveyor belt
The dispensing plane of the labeling head shall be kept horizontally level with the conveyor belt. Tilted angle or loose mounting of the labeling head will lead to overall labeling offset.
Their running speeds must be synchronized. Excessively fast label‑dispensing speed causes premature labeling and wrinkles; slow dispensing speed results in delayed labeling and label pulling, leading to inconsistent labeling positions for batches of products.
3.Improper adjustment of photoelectric sensor
The photoelectric sensor detects products and triggers label dispensing. If it is installed too far forward, labels will be applied ahead of position; if installed too far backward, labels will be positioned behind target, and missing labeling may occur in severe cases.
