Precautions for Using Labeling Machines

Precautions for Using Labeling Machines

Precautions for using labeling machines can be divided into five aspects: equipment operation, safety protection, maintenance, label management, and fault handling. The details are as follows:

I. Equipment Operation Standards:
Parameter Setting and Debugging:
Select a labeling machine model suitable for the product. Ensure stable installation and compatibility with the production line. During debugging, calibrate labeling accuracy and speed parameters.

Label Matching and Placement:
Verify that label dimensions and materials meet product requirements. Ensure the label direction aligns with the product's movement direction. Before startup, check that labels are not placed upside down. During operation, maintain a single direction for product placement.

II. Safety Protection Measures:
Operation Area Management:
Prohibit placing materials or tools in the equipment operation area. Do not extend hands or head into rotating components (e.g., paper tube cutting machines). Fasten cuffs of work clothing to avoid loose clothing.

Emergency Handling:
In case of a malfunction, immediately press the emergency stop button. Do not operate the machine with known faults. When not in use for an extended period, disconnect the power supply and cover the machine to prevent dust accumulation.

III. Maintenance and Care Points:
Cleaning and Lubrication:
Regularly clean dust from the machine surface. Remove dirt from high-temperature areas. After 48 hours of continuous operation, apply lubricating oil to ensure smooth functioning of gears, bearings, and other components.

Regular Inspections:
Check power cords and air hose connections before daily startup. Clean and remove dust weekly, and tighten wiring terminals. For long-term idle periods, release the pressure film eccentric shaft.

IV. Label Management Requirements:
Quality and Inventory:
Use labels that meet standards and ensure information is clear and readable. Regularly check inventory and replenish labels promptly to avoid production interruptions.

Environmental Control:
Keep flammable, explosive, or corrosive items away from the equipment. In humid environments, add drying equipment (e.g., drying tunnels).

V. Fault Handling Principles:
In case of operational faults, stop the machine and report for repair. Do not disassemble components without authorization.
Do not touch the casing of high-frequency machines during operation. In case of abnormal welding, immediately press the emergency stop button.

By adhering to the above standards, the labeling machine can operate efficiently and stably while ensuring production safety and product quality.
